November 3, 2020 Election

The General election is Tuesday, November 3, 2020.   Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. for those voters wishing to vote in person.    Voters are asked to mask up and practice social distancing.  Precincts are equipped with hand sanitizer, voting stations that adhere to social distancing guidelines, sanitized voting stations and equipment, in addition to workers wearing personal protection aids.

For voters who would prefer to vote absentee; you may file your application and receive a ballot until 4:00 p.m. Monday, November 2, 2020.  Our office will hold special hours on Saturday, October 31st from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. for your convenience.

Absentee applications may be obtained through the township office, visiting our web page, or visiting Michigan State web page at

As of 9/17/20; we have receipted over 2100 applications to receive an absentee ballot.   Ballots are expected to be delivered to us by September 24, 2020. 

Once we receive our absentee ballots from the printer, we will begin processing them for mailing.  Please be patient as we work through the applications in the order in which we have received them.   We expect to have applications processed and ballots mailed out no later than October 10th.   You may check the status of your ballot by visiting follow the links to check the status of your ballot.  

Returning your ballot is easy.  You may drop it off during office hours and place it in the secured ballot container; visit us after hours and place in our secure drop box (accessible from the front of the building or our lobby) and place in the mail.   Please do not attempt to mail your ballot after October 24th to allow ample time for mailing. 

Postage on your return ballot is one regular stamp.
